1 Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Think! Design & Planning, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating under the product name ACE — Accessibility Compliance Engine (accessible at thinkace.app), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use our Service.
By accessing or using ACE, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2 Information We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of information:
- Account Information — Your name and email address, collected through Firebase Authentication when you create an account or sign in via Google Single Sign-On.
- Uploaded Documents — PDF files and HTML content you upload for accessibility scanning and remediation.
- Payment Information — Payment details (credit/debit card numbers, billing address) processed exclusively through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We never receive, access, or store your full card numbers.
- Usage Data — Anonymous usage metrics collected through Google Analytics, including page views, session duration, feature interactions, browser type, and device information.
- Credit Balances — Records of purchased and consumed document credits stored in your Firebase account.
3 Document Processing & Data Retention
Your documents are processed in-memory and are NOT stored permanently on our servers. When you upload a PDF for scanning or remediation, it is processed in real time and discarded immediately after your remediated file is returned to you. We do not retain copies of your uploaded or remediated documents.
This means:
- No copies of your PDF files are saved to disk or archived.
- Document content is never used for AI model training.
- Once processing is complete, all document data is purged from memory.
- You are solely responsible for saving and storing your remediated documents.
4 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the ACE Service.
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- To process payments and manage your credit balance.
- To improve, personalize, and expand our Service.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve user experience.
- To communicate with you regarding account-related matters, updates, or support.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity.
5 Third-Party Services
ACE integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

- Google Gemini API — AI-powered document analysis and remediation. Document content is submitted for processing and not retained by Google for model training under our API terms.
6 Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may disclose your information only in the following circumstances:
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and protect our legal rights.
- To protect the safety of users and the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets (with prior notice).
7 Data Security
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure Firebase authentication protocols, and Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment infrastructure.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

ACE uses the following cookies and tracking technologies:
- Authentication Cookies — Essential cookies managed by Firebase to maintain your login session.

- Local Storage — Browser local storage used to save application preferences and session state.
